On January 5th, I began the process to become a sub at a local Christian school. Then I was offered the job at the Vet's office. Well, it has been one month at the Vet and this past Thursday I received and unexpected phone call. The call was from Grace Christian School. I was offered a Kindergarten teaching position.
Today was my first day there. I will be getting to know the school, students, etc. this whole week and begin teaching next week! I'm so excited though to finally be doing what I want and love to do!

Job Update
So, I have been looking for a job for the past 7 months. I have been supposedly over-qualified for every job I have applied! This I cannot believe! Well, I had an interview about a 1 1/2 weeks ago, for a job at the Ellijay Animal Hospital. Now, I have no previous experience with animal hospitals. Well, I received a call last night around 6:00pm. Corey and I were in the car on our way to the store, to pick up a few things to take to my parent's home for dinner. In any event, I kept motioning to Corey to go to Walmart and he kept saying no! We do not like to go to Walmart for a quick trip. However, when I got off the phone with the animal hospital, I told Corey that we needed to go to Walmart because I had to buy my 1st pair of scrubs! That's right! I got the job!!! And today was my first day!!! It was fun to learn so many new things!
I am the new Veterinarian Technician at Ellijay Animal Hospital! I'm so excited! A new job. A new field of study. Praise God for answered prayers in providing work for our family!

COREY'S BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS!
On December 30, 1978, Corey Andrew Pass was born!
Celebration #1 - We went to Texas Roadhouse with Corey's Mom, Dad, Devin (brother), Hilary (Devin's girlfriend). We have a couple pictures of that and then the wait staff singing to Corey.
Celebration #2 - We went to Red Lobster (Corey's dinner of choice). Amy's Mom and Dad joined us. We have a couple pictures of that and then a video of the wait staff singing!!

Let's Play Catch Up! Part Three!
Here we go...CHRISTMAS TIME!!! We celebrated Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with Amy's family. On Christmas Eve we attended First Baptist Church Ellijay for the Christmas Eve Service. Here is a video of our Student Arts group performing a Hand Drama of "Let There Be Light" By Point of Grace & John David Webster. Amy choreographed the Hand Drama. Enjoy!!
After the Christmas Eve Service we went back to Amy's Parents home for a Christmas Eve Dinner. And as always, it is Fondue!!! My Favorite!!! Here is a slide of the pictures and videos of the Cann Family Christmas !!!
On December 27th, we drove to Gainesville, GA to celebrate Christmas with Corey's Family! Here is a slide of the fun we had there!!! Enjoy!

Here is a picture of our first snow back at the beginning of December. Zowie was barking at the snow falling outside. We also had a ton of leaves on our porch...hehe :) But the garland look nice!
On December 7th, the Student Arts Ministry Corey and I have been working with had their Christmas Party. Here is our group photo from that night.
Then on the second weekend of December Corey and I drove to Ocala, FL to have an interview with Oak-Griner Baptist Church. However, we have already heard back from the church and they are pursuing another canidate. But here is a picture we took in the car!

Let's Play Catch Up! Part One!
I know, I know, WAY OVERDUE!!!
We are soooooo Sorry...Every time we tried to update with our pictures and videos our computer kept messing up. But I believe we are good now!
First, let's go back to Thanksgiving....Corey and I had a wonderful Thanksgiving!! On Thanksgiving Day we went to my parent's home for the Cann Family Thanksgiving. Before we went to their home though, my cousin Phil and Stephanie's two middle children, Madeline and Daniel, asked my father to baptize them. So, our entire family met at First Baptist Ellijay to have a family baptism. I have a couple videos of the baptism's and a slide show of our Thanksgiving with the Cann family!
On the day after Thanksgiving (Friday) we drove down to Gainesville, GA to be with Corey's family through Saturday evening. On Friday night we had a wonderful dinner that Corey's Grandma made. On Saturday, my mother-in-law took me to get our nails and toes done. Saturday night we went to FBC Oakwood to see their light show...it was AWESOME!

We received an early Christmas Gift from Corey's Dad & Mom. They took Corey & I, Blake & Suzianne (my brother and sister-in-law), Devin & Hillary (my brother-in-law and his girlfriend), to the:

@ the Phillip's Arena (Atlanta)
It was INCREDIBLE!!! I have put together some clips I recorded while there! Please enjoy listening to the music and watching the awesome light show!! However, beware of some screaming of excitement that will be on a few clips! (There were many excited fans...including Hillary and myself!)
